Mango SS17 Campaign Chapter 1: CHANGING WHAT DIVERSITY MEANS IN FASHION
Bhumika Arora is one of the most successful models of the moment. Born in Karnal, a conservative city in northern India, she has had to overcome many barriers and prejudices to achieve her dream of succeeding in the fashion industry.
Lyn Slater started her fashion blog to address women living what she calls “normal but interesting lives.” Clinging to her leitmotiv “Age is not a variable”, this Law Professor at the University, has become an influencer and fashion icon at the international level with almost 100 thousand followers in her Instagram account.
Mango SS17 Campaign Chapter 2: INHERITED PASSIONS, UNIQUE SELVES
Parker Van Noord has followed in the footsteps of his father Andre. His special talent on camera was discovered in a photo shoot they did together when Parker was only 14 years old. Now he continues her studies while trying to make a name for herself in the fashion industry.
Andre Van Noord was discovered 32 years ago at a Rolling Stones concert, and today he combines his profession with a passion for photography and music.
Mango SS17 Campaign Chapter 3: EMBRACING THE UNIQUENESS OF YOUR OWN VOICE
Staz Lindes and Misha Lindes are two London brothers who grew up in Los Angeles and share their passion for music, inherited from their father Hal Lindes, guitarist of the Dire Straits.
Staz Lindes is a multi-talented woman. In addition to being a model and photographer, she sings and plays guitar and bass in the garage-rock group The Paranoyds. Misha is a graphic designer and member of the punk band Sad Girl, in which he is also a singer and lead guitarist.
Mango SS17 Campaign Chapter 4: UNIQUENESS EXPRESSED THROUGH ART
Lauren Johnson has always been attracted to art. Sculpture, photography or dance are some of his passions. It was not part of the original cast of A Story of Uniqueness but her unique personality and style caught the attention of the creative team who did not hesitate to include her as one of the protagonists of the campaign.
