February 26, 2016 (New York, NY) – boohoo.com, one of the UK’s largest online fashion retailers announces You Tube Sensation, Amanda Steele as the face of its US Spring 16 Campaign.
Last year global fast fashion e-tailer boohoo launched their first #WeAreUSA influencer campaign with the introduction of tribes across all the customers’ passion points from fashion and music to health and lifestyle. Following the success of spring 15 influencer campaign, boohoo.com has a new line up of brand ambassadors with social influencer Amanda Steele at the forefront.
boohoo.com VP of Marketing, Natalie McGrath, says of the campaign, “Our vision for the campaign was to engage with an influencer that embodies US youth culture and Amanda Steele represents that; the popularity of You tube and its influence is a core component of our 2016 US marketing plans.
The campaign was shot at the picturesque Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs and will be part of our spring 16 global campaign “More Than Just a Girl” inspired by fierce females taking girl power to the next level. The campaign explores the different facets to every individual, championing the people who are pushing boundaries, challenging stereotypes and just generally kicking a$$ every day. From inspirational girl bosses to multi-linguists, campaigners to black-belt champions, the campaign will live through our customers’ voices, utilizing User Generated Content, influencers and brand ambassadors to stimulate hidden talents, interests and passions.
The SS16 campaign will launch at boohoo.com on February 29, 2016 and will feature exclusive content and activations across the season.
